Mack-Cali has been selected by NJBIZ as one of "New Jersey's Fifty Fastest Growing Companies" for 2008. The program honors the state's 50 fastest growing companies based on revenue growth from 2005-2007. The award, accepted by Mack-Cali President and Chief Executive Officer Mitchell E. Hersh, was presented at the NJBIZ awards dinner on November 16, 2008.  

Food drive benefits the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

In November, Mack-Cali tenants at 343 Thornall Street in Edison, NJ, contributed nonperishable food items to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, whose mission is to alleviate the direct effects of hunger and poverty in the state. Special thanks to the staff at Crossing Media for its large contribution to the drive.  

Energy Star distinction is awarded to two Mack-Cali Business Campus buildings.

Mack-Cali's 4 Gatehall Drive and 8 Campus Drive, located at the Mack-Cali Business Campus in Parsippany, NJ, have earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) prestigious Energy Star, the national symbol for superior energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Recently, Mack-Cali's Soundview Plaza, 1266 Main Street in Stamford, CT, was awarded The Office Building Year (TOBY) award from the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). TOBY awards are based on excellence in office building management. Congratulations to the winning property management team!

Mack-Cali/White Plains 5K Road Race!

The annual Mack-Cali/White Plains 5K Road Race to benefit the White Plains Hospital Center was held on September 28 through downtown White Plains, NY. A total of 286 participants took part in the youth races, 1-mile fun walk, 5K and 10K races. Thank you to all who participated!  

10th Annual Canstruction Competition helps feed the hungry.

In October, Mack-Cali again hosted New Jersey's Canstruction Charity Competition at Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City, NJ. Canstruction is a design/build charity competition to benefit The Community FoodBank of New Jersey. This year's competition was its most successful to date with over 20 tons of food and over $6000 donated to the organization.

Mack-Cali Business Campus hosts Parsippany community event.

On Saturday, September 20, over 200 people participated in the first Parsippany Troy-Hills Rotary Club 5K Road Race held at Mack-Cali Business Campus in Parsippany. The event supported both Parsippany Mayor Michael Luther's Wellness Campaign and the Rotary Foundation.

 
Car show benefits The Valerie Fund Children's Centers.

  
On September 14, The Valerie Fund held its first car show at Mack-Cali's 150 John F. Kennedy Parkway in Short Hills, NJ. Proceeds benefited the Valerie Fund Children's Centers, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to treating children with cancer and blood disorders. The Eden Family 5K and Fun Walk for Autism

  
On July 13, Princeton Forrestal Village was the site of this year's Eden Family 5K which drew over 500 participants and raised over $40,000 to help children with autism and their families. Thank you to the many tenants who donated raffle prizes and/or services.
 
March of Dimes Motorcycle Ride Kicks Off at Taxter Corporate Park

  
Members of the motorcycling community supported The March of Dimes' Northern Metro Division with itsBikers for Babies fundraising ride on Sunday, June 22. Starting from Mack-Cali's Taxter Corporate Park in Tarrytown, NY, 200 motorcycle riders toured 65 miles through scenic country roads and finished in Haverstraw, NY. Over $40,000 was raised.

The Westchester chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) has bestowed its "Best of BOMA" Award to Mack-Cali's 50 Main Street at Westchester Financial Center in downtown White Plains, N.Y. The award was presented for "Best Central Business District Curb Appeal" at BOMA's Hall of Honor Awards Dinner in May. This is the third consecutive year 50 Main Street has been honored by BOMA. Recycling Program for Fluorescent Light Bulbs and Computer Components

  
In compliance with EPA regulations requiring fluorescent light bulbs and computer components to be recycled, Mack-Cali has set up a recycling program at its properties. Items are now required to be disposed of in special drums on-site that will be picked up by a recycling company.
