Harborside offers magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline.

The initial development of the highly successful Harborside Financial Center Plazas 1-3 has attracted top companies worldwide, now filling 2.1 million square feet in four existing buildings. Now, the new planned development of 6.5 million square feet at Harborside Plazas 4-9, promises similar success. When complete, this magnificent "city within a city" will total more than 8 million square feet of exceptional office, residential and hotel space.

Mack-Cali announced in May, 1999 that it would begin development of three projects at Harborside totaling over 900,000 square feet. The first two projects consisted of a three-story, 185,000 square-foot, build-to-suit, class A office building for Waterhouse Securities, a leading discount brokerage firm. The office building is being constructed above a seven-story, 440,000 square-foot, 1,100-car parking garage. The third project is the development of a nine-story, 280,000 square-foot, 350-room Hyatt Regency Hotel, to be built on Harborside's south pier, which extends into the Hudson River. The full-service hotel will include approximately 20,000 square feet of meeting and conference facilities, a full-service restaurant and lounge and a pool.

In October Mack-Cali broke ground on Harborside Plaza 5, a 33-story, 915,000 square-foot class A building with a seven-story, 1,270-car parking garage pedestal. Expected to be completed in third quarter 2002, Plaza 5 has tenant commitments of approximately 25% of the available space. At the same time Mack-Cali announced that it intends to also develop Plaza 10, a 575,000 square-foot building which Charles Schwab & Co. has signed a long-term lease for 300,000 square feet. Both Plazas 5 and 10 will feature state-of-the-art infrastructures, including redundant utilities, security systems, fiber optic broadband services with high-speed Internet access, and access to multiple telecommunications providers, as well as abundant on-site amenities.
