Mack-Cali Realty Corporation Donates $50,000 for Renovations for New Jersey City Museum

Cranford, NJ, March 22, 2000--Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE:CLI) today announced that it has donated $50,000 to the Jersey City Museum, an art and history museum providing exhibitions, publications and educational programs to adults and children in Hudson County, New Jersey and surrounding communities.
Mack-Cali's contribution will assist in renovating a vacant building on Montgomery Street, which will house the museum. Currently, the museum is located on the fourth floor of Jersey City's Main Library on Jersey Avenue.
The donation qualifies as a dollar for dollar match through a challenge grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, resulting in a total contribution of $100,000 to the museum's capital campaign.
"We are pleased to be able to continue our support to the Jersey City community by providing assistance to this exceptional educational resource," said Mitchell E. Hersh, chief executive officer of Mack-Cali. "Mack-Cali is committed to enhancing the Jersey City community through high-quality programs, services and activities," Hersh added. In Jersey City, Mack-Cali also sponsors the sports program for the Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County and other charitable and educational programs.
