Mack-Cali Announces Second Quarter Leasing Results for New York and Connecticut Portfolio

Cranford, New Jersey — August 13, 2003 — Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI) today announced it has completed 206,462 square feet of leasing transactions at its New York and Connecticut properties during the second quarter of 2003.

Highlights include:

  • Fremont Investment & Loan, a subsidiary of Fremont General Corporation, a financial services holding company, signed a new lease totaling 25,592 square feet at 555 Taxter Road in Elmsford, New York. The 170,554 square-foot class A office property, located at Taxter Corporate Park, is 99.7% leased. William Cuddy and Budd Weisenberg of Insignia/ESG represented the tenant and Carol McGuire, in-house leasing director, represented Mack-Cali.
  • McMahan Securities Co. LP, a financial services firm, leased 23,866 square feet at 500 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. The lease consisted of a 19,420 square-foot renewal and a 4,446 square-foot expansion. The 121,250 square-foot class A office building is 100% leased. Carol McGuire represented Mack-Cali.
  • Progressive Casualty Insurance, a division of the Progressive Companies, an auto insurance provider, signed new leases for 16,851 square feet at One Executive Boulevard in Yonkers, New York. The 112,000 square-foot class A office building, located at South Westchester Executive Park, is 100% leased. Greg Frisoli of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant and Ivan Abry, in-house leasing director, represented Mack-Cali.
  • Applied Behavioral Analysis Corp., dba Fred S. Keller School, a preschool for children with learning disabilities, renewed its lease for 10,365 square feet at One Odell Plaza in Yonkers, New York. The 106,000 square-foot office/flex building, located at South Westchester Executive Park, is 100% leased. Richard Goldstein of Goldstein Associates represented the tenant and Ivan Abry represented Mack-Cali.
