--White Plains Mayor Delfino to Kick Off October 5 Race to Benefit White Plains Hospital--

Elmsford, New York—September 29, 2003—The sixth annual Mack-Cali/White Plains Road Race will be held this Sunday, October 5, in downtown White Plains. Sponsored by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI), this year's event will include a 10K race in addition to its usual 5K race and 1-mile fun walk. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the White Plains Hospital Center.

Mack-Cali will partner with the White Plains Recreation and Parks Department in cooperation with the Westchester Road Runners Club to produce the event, which is part of a celebration of downtown White Plains and a recreation initiative encouraged by the city.

White Plains mayor Joseph M. Delfino will kick off the race at 9:00 a.m. at Martine Avenue and South Lexington Avenue, across from Mack-Cali's Westchester Financial Center. Arne Abramowitz, White Plains commissioner of Parks and Recreation; Michael Grossman, Mack-Cali executive vice president; and a representative from White Plains Hospital Center will also be at the starting line.
