Mack-Cali Announces First Quarter Leasing Results for Suburban Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey Portfolio

Cranford, New Jersey—May 19, 2004—Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (NYSE: CLI) today announced it has completed 115,907 square feet of leasing transactions during the first quarter of 2004 at its Suburban Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey properties. Company-wide, Mack-Cali completed 727,337 square feet of leasing transactions during the quarter.

Highlights of the first quarter transactions include three leases in Moorestown, New Jersey:

  • Allstate Insurance, a nationwide insurance provider, renewed its lease for 25,497 square feet at 224 Strawbridge Drive. The 74,000 square-foot class A office building, located at Moorestown Corporate Center, is 100 percent leased. Joseph Sklencar, Sr. of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant.
  • Heartland Ceramic Tile Distributors signed a new lease for 25,446 square feet at 202 Commerce Drive at Moorestown West Corporate Center. The 51,200 square-foot office/flex property is 75 percent leased. Jeff Rincon of WH Pounds Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.
  • CSI Computer Specialists Inc., a provider of computer maintenance services, renewed its lease for 12,835 square feet at 2 Executive Drive at Moorestown West Corporate Center. The 60,800 square-foot office/flex building is 87.3 percent leased.

    Donna Bleiler, in-house leasing director, represented Mack-Cali in each transaction.

    Also, as previously announced, PNC Bank, N.A., a subsidiary of PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., renewed its 23,337 square-foot lease at 1000 Westlakes Drive at Westlakes Office Park in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
