Mack-Cali Realty Corporation Completes Common Stock Offering

Edison, New Jersey—May 6, 2009—Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (the "Company") (NYSE: CLI) announced that it completed a public offering of 11,500,000 shares of common stock today at a price per share of $25.00, including 1,500,000 shares issued and sold to the underwriters to cover overallotments. Merrill Lynch & Co., Deutsche Bank Securities and J.P.Morgan acted as the joint book-running managers. BNY Mellon Capital Markets, LLC, Citi, Comerica Securities, PNC Capital Markets LLC, Scotia Capital, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wachovia Securities acted as co-managers.
The net proceeds to the Company from the offering after deducting underwriting commissions and discounts and offering expenses were approximately $275 million. The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay borrowings under its unsecured revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
